motor mounts
I have a 93 ls 400. Upon starting it sometimes makes a loud thumping noise. If I cut it off and restart within a few seconds, this will surely happen. Otherwise it is rare but disturbing.
have you ever replaced your motor mounts or transmission mount?
I have replaced both on my 99 model, they were completely busted, separated from the metal.. take a look
