Unhappy Outside temperature sensor for a 98 ls400.

Hey guys ive been having this trouble with my outside temp now showing up in the dash with my time. My time shows but right by it its blank? I try to look up any info but all they said was check the sensor. I did today and it seems to be fine? Can any one help me? is there a part # for a new sensor? Thanks.

Anyway, sleepywgn, did you test the sensor or just look at it? Just looking at it wont tell you if it's good or bad. I think you can test it with a multimeter but I'm not sure what the specs are supposed to be. If you search you might find the specs, and then go from there, instead of just changing a sensor that might be good.
