outside tmperature sensor

I took a short drive and the outside temperature was going from -22F to 97F and all over in-between. Now it seems stuck at -22F. I found what I think is the sensor(077500-4031), but I ohmed it out and it does have some readings. Does any one have a diagram or schematic or info on this?

Turns out I had downloaded a schematic several years ago and had forgotten. The other night it was a hard failure, and wouldn't you know with diagrams in hand all was normal this morning. I hate intermittents.
