Any ideas? The wiring seems fine!

Start and stop the engine with the lights turned off. You can get a surge when you start and it is bad for bulbs if they are on.

Just how many bulbs so far and what kind? I went through probably a dozen so called HID colored bulbs with the blue glass until I gave up with those *******.

What deanbrown says is truth. Steer clear of the 'HID look' bulbs, especially inexpensive ones. Silverstars are a little better, but not much. Hella and PIAA are the two best aftermarket bulbs you can buy, but you will pay for the quality. On the flipside, you could venture into HIDs, but I'm a little of a purist when it comes to color and light output. I only recommend 55w 4500k. I personally use DDM Tuning because they offer a lifetime warranty. There are plenty of companies out there, but the main things to look for are fused power leads and a relay in the harness. I hope this info helps.

Well, they are pretty much as close to stock headlights as you can get. Nothing fancy. Definitly not fake hid looking.

You might look into stopping in to your local parts store and picking up a two pack of 9007 wiring harnesses. You can start by replacing those first. After that (if you plan on sticking with stock) pick you up a pair of either standard Sylvania or Sylvania Eco Bright bulbs. See what that brings you.
