Default Headlight bulbs

I know you guys will be able to clear this up for me.

Sorry, I know it seems like I ask a question every other day on here, I'm pretty stupid.

OK so I've seen Xenon replacement bulbs for like 30 bucks, superwhte bulbs for that same price, and HID conversion kits for like almost a grand. What is the difference between all this stuff?

xenon bulbs are just filled with xenon gas. they aren't what really gives that blue color if you just get the $30 bulbs. it helps with the whitish, but really the xenon helps make the bulbs last longer. the superwhites are just what they say, white, with a little blue tint. they use halogen gas, not a noble gas. the hid conversion kits are the ones that not only use the special xenon filled bulbs, but they are wired to use higher wattage and burn brighter. they also use the satelite shape instead of the canister headlights like our older models. the other kind you left out are the ion gas filled, which sounds all fancy, but it is just a halogen bulb with ions instead of stable atoms. it glows red/blue/white/green at different angles

because, theyu aren't going to last longer than our halogens. i don't mean that they last longer than our stock, i mean it's in there to make them last longer relatively. if it was halogen gas in there iwth the same filiment it would burn up much quicker. in real HID systems, the gas burns as well, the xenon gas lights up similar to in a neon light bulb, so you would have filiment and gas burning making things brighter. i would go for HID conversion if you can afford it, otherwise go for aftermarket xenon bulbs
i've had the same xenon eurolite aftermarket bulbs in my car for 3 months. ihave them in my regulars and brights

What's a good brand and place to buy the aftermarket xenon bulbs? A model number would be appreciated. Plus about how much would we be paying?

buy eurolite. 9006 is regular headlight, 9005 is high beams, 1157 is turn signal/parking lamp, H3 is rain, 1156 is reverse, 194 is doors and licence plate lights, 1895 is front dome light, and 211-2 fits diagonally into the center dome, but isnt the right size

Be careful with those super whites and xenon filled bulbs. Some of them will burn the sockets and some of them go out after a few months. Be careful not to touch the bulbs at all while your putting them in. I have some Xenon filled ones and I love them. I like the HIDs but putting them in would be too much for me and i like to keep it simple. i hate wires hanging all over the place and seeing them. I'm too neat for all that.

I'll have to check on that. I still have the box but it's out at my parents in their garage. I bought them at an auto place run by other rice boys for like $20.
