So my battery died the other day and ever since then I can't control the passenger windows in my car from the drivers door, but the individual switches work on each door. I was wondering if there's something I need to do to reprogram the switch to work again? I remember having to do something like that on my Mercedes once but I can't find anything about it for my Lexus. Has anybody ever heard of this? Car is a 1995 btw.
Turn on your Ignition.
Open your window half way down (approximate)
Press and hold the auto-up button until window closes.
Continue holding the button for a few seconds and release.
Confirm it works by testing the auto-up/down window button.
I tried that and it's not working, I've been searching for a solution and can't find it. Anyone care to direct me in the right direction? There must be a way to reset the window ecu, like a sequence of some sort
I've got kind of the same problem, but my passenger switches don't work. Sometimes the window will go down a inch or two but much slower. I can control the windows just fine from the drivers door. Thought it was a motor issue but than how could I put em up and down from my side. I've replaced the whole window/lock control, checked over all the wiring but they still don't work in all 3 passenger doors.

Sounds like we have opposite problems actually haha.
Anyway, turns out its definitely not a programming issue, because now the drivers door switches occasionally work, mostly when the car has been running for a while. Any advice?
