the valve that stays open, only closes when the car detects a loss of traction. it closes to lower the power output to regain traction. what are you trying to "diagnose"?
So that one gon be close till I press the gas pedal? I'm trying to see why the check engine light not blanking when I connect the terminals. I thought the valve was open
your tps might be out of adjustment. the one for the throttle, not traction control. there are 2 tps's. the one closest to the middle of the engine bay is the one id check.
I clean throttle body it wasn't that dirty I sprayed it and wipe it clean. The part where the throttle body connect to was dirty I was wondering if I have to clean in there. I'm gon hook it back up when I get some meters

Yes, clean inside there as much as you can. If you have the throttle body off, I don't know why you would but, it's easier and you're able to get in there and get alot of that garbage out of there.
