Get the Megan Easy street setup. It has a lower spring rate in the rear than the LP's. You have to consider that either way you go, you will have to make a sacrifice somewhere. Most of us that are telling you to get Megans are speaking from first hand experience. Some of them went with springs first then Megans, but the majority of us rolling lowered LS400's are lowered are on Megans and are more than pleased with the outcome.
I can tell you one thing you may experience if you go with springs is bottoming out. I experienced this in my Accord with H&R sport springs with a 1.5 inch drop. My new struts blew within a few months.
Worst case scenario is you get the coilovers don't like them and sell them in the classifieds.
