Default Please Help! Key stuck in ignition!

I had a temporary flat key made about a year ago when I had locked my keys in my car. I put this key in the ignition and now it is stuck in there and I cant crank the car or get the key out. Can someone please help me? I need to use the car tonight! Thanks

Try using a vibrator on the key. Lean on it for a few seconds at a time. Try it a few times. Also, try tapping on it gently with a rubber mallet. Lastly, grab it with a pair of plyers and yank on it outward while giggling it. Good luck.

try turning the wheel and the key at the same time, sounds like the steering wheel lock kicked in.

ditto. sometimes my key wont turn to start the car. turning the wheel frees it up to let it turn.
