I am especially concearned since my car has a lot of bass. I don't want ANYTHING to be heard outside when my doors are shut.

As kind of a side note, we've had this discussion about vibrating side view mirrors over in the Dodge Trucks newsgroup on (AB)USEnet. Without exception, everyone there reporting this has installed a bug deflector or similar airfoil on the front of the hood. Chrysler Corp says the airfoil works to deflect bugs by creating air turbulence. Unfortunately, one of the adverse side effects is vibrating side view mirrors at highway speeds. The fix is to remove the bug deflector.
