Default Stock wheel offset?

Anyone know what the positive offset is on stock 99. I think it's around +50 on 6 1/2 " wide wheels.
I'm looking to go aftermarket wheels that will come out more even with the wheel wells.

all LS400s after '92 (so 93-00) had factory 16x7 wheels with an offset of +40-+50 (can't recall exact amount).

but the ucf1x and ucf2x have very different fitment needs depending on how flush you want.

i suggest you go look through our wheel/tire fitment thread.

I could be wrong, but I'd want to say +44?

Just checked the back of the wheel. 16 x 7 with 45 offset.
Would a 20 offset sit flush with the fenders or stick out too far?

It's a Voxx 5 spoke 7" wheel so it would stick out 25 mm over stock or about an inch.

yeah, but that's still not going to rub provided you dont run much more than a 225width tire....still very very conservative.

Thanks Pure. Sticking with 225. Just wanted a bit more aggressive look without roller skating or degrading the plush ride on my old bones.

Default 18x7.5 DR-19

Anybody know if this size rim, 18 X7.5 5/114.30 45, will fit my 97 Celsior ? This is just about factory size for the LS 430 rims

offset and width are only part of the fitment story. wheel/spoke design matters too which needs to be a certain way to clear the bigger brake calipers on your 97.

for sure factory LS430 wheels fit but that's because they were designed to fit the bigger brakes of the 430. i'm not sure what kind of inside clearance the DR-19 wheels have.

worse case you will have to run spacers to clear the calipers.
