DIY Aftermarket Steering Wheel Install (Nardi/Works Bell)
I decided to write this up since there really isn't much info out there LS or otherwise. Parts used are a Nadri Classic From my Q and a Works Bell 536 hub.
Here's what you get when you shell out more for the hub vs. eBay cheapies, etc. I almost went the other way but couldn't bring myself to do it.
1) Worthless instructions. That's why I'm here...
Everything else.
Top to bottom: Horn lead, main harness, airbag module.
The 536 hub can retain your ACC. I chose to remove mine (engine bay clean up project) and use the Nardi Horn.
On to the DIY:
Remove your steering wheel. I'm not going to go into this. Grab an FSM or search for the procedure.
Connect the air bag module, this will prevent your dash light from coming on. I doubled it back and zip tied it for security.
Connect the main harness, feed it through the hub, and tighten the nut/lock washer. Make sure your wheels are straight and you place the arrow on the hub at 12 o' clock.
Not pictured: place the plastic cover over the hub.
Connect the steering wheel to the hub. I used a Nardi horn ring in place of the supplied ring on both my Q and LS. It may work for other brands of steering wheels, I'm not sure. The ring is placed between the wheel and hub with the lip facing toward you.
Horn connected through the outer trim ring. ACC would also be done now if you used the WB horn. There are 2 more leads that I have no idea what they're for.
These clips must be pushed in with a small screw driver. Once they are all inside the diameter of the horn ring a little pressure will set them.
Make sure everything works as it should and enjoy!

Sorry to dig up an old thread, but what year is the car/ will the 536 hub work with UCF20 (95 specifically)?? I'm about to purchase a nardi wheel. Also, this and the HKB are the only ones i found that retain cruise. Seemed like plug and play, but my computer or phone wont load any pictures.
