Default Radio install problem

When I first got my car it had a pioneer avic-d1 (double din navigation). I ended up taking it out and puttitng it in my talon. The previous owner installed it and hardwired it, it worked flawlessly, sub and all. When I took it out I left about an inch of wire attatched to each factory wire (for easy install if I ever went aftermarket again). With that said, I decided to put an old JVC deck I had laying around in, so install was a breeze thanks to my cheat wires. The problem I am having now is when the balance a fade are centered out the factory sub does not work. I realized as I fade it forward or back it starts working?? WTF. Has anyone had the same problem??? thanks in advance

Sounds like you need to check the wires for the speakers starting from the deck. Trace them to wherever they go and let us know.
