ive tried to use some needle nose to try to pull it it out, but all it does is chip the clear casing on the top. i dont want to pull real hard because my whole fus box moves with the fuse.
how would go about pulling it up?
Shortly after buying my LS 6 years ago, I learned that some not so bright guy had hard wired the 120A circuit in place of the fuse. I think they probably couldn't figure out how to pull the fuse out, so they soldered a piece of wire in the old fuse itself - this was completely hack and potentially very dangerous, so I was glad I spotted it. I remember buying the fuse at either autozone or pep boys - it should be available anywhere. I do recall having to remove screws on both sides of the fuse and then being able to remove it - it took some patience, but wasn't so bad. Thankfullly, I haven't had any electrical issues related to that since.
