Default Is my pad wear sensor alright?

Pad wear sensor on the pass. side of a '96 is flush with the thin front pads and the loop is exposed but not broke yet. No light on dash, could light be out and sensor be bad? I'm betting the sensor is BARELY okay and the light works fine. The sensor shows very low resistance so it is still showing continuity. Maybe just dab a little silicone on it and reuse if it is still good. Would you guy's agree and do the same?

you should be able to just leave it alone, if you're really worried dab it with a little bit of liquid electrical tape (small amounts).

i accidently cut one of mine a couple years back and just soldered the wires together in the connector and plugged it back in. it was on the rear anyways and my wheels make checking brake pads easy

agreed as soon as it pops on , solder it back together again when you change the pads.
