Default first gen fog light problem?!

hi all new to the ls family had my first gen since november when i bought it the left foglight was out. I assumed that it was only the bulb so i went to replace it and when i turned them on both where out! aha i dont get it the plug for the left fog (the one that was out) is pretty dirty kinda looks burned imo. What could have made both lights go down? its just odd to me how the right fog was working fine and then when i go to replace the left one both go out aha

Check that plug carefully. Sounds like you may have an exposed wire somewhere, since you said it looks kind of burned, touching bare metal and as a result you blew a fuse. The fuse for the fogs is located in the fuse box under the steering wheel.
