Default New with a headlight worrning

hey guys, am new to the site and would like to thank everyone contribute to the forums. Yet I could not find why my LS400 with 133k dies when I turn the high beams on. recently it gave me " headlight leveling ".
I searched all over but no one had the same problem when high beam switched on.

thank u .

Ok, i have yet to hear of this issue. Just for some quick starters, what about if you unplug both headlights. What about break lights or parking lights? Is it an immediate die, or does it chug for a few seconds and then die. I will do the best I can at helping you diagnose this problem, however if you don't feel comfortable chasing a wiring diagram, you might want to have someone from a shop tackle this one.

well it happens sometimes, and it die right away. couple of times i turned the high beams in my garage and didnt die, but once I was driving and turned them on really quick and the car immediate die.

by the break light u mean the tail light ? i have not checked but probably working. I could chase the wiring if i know where to start . .

check the wiring around the headlight as you have a short somewhere, probably in the harness for the autolevelling motors.

next time, put your car's year into the first post (as it took me a second to realize you had a 98-00) and also, please use proper spelling.
