Intermitent brake failure
I got a buddy with a 97' LS400 who's brakes go in and out. It seems to very with speed and causes a delay if you will. Low ( 30mph or lower ) speeds it'll apply fine or not at all and at high speeds ( 40mph or higher ) not at all or VERY aggressive. I'm more then capable of fixing the issue, however,I don't know the LS400 braking system very well. Nor do I have any sort of factory big green book of any sort either.
So I was hoping someone may have had this issue before. That way they could atleast point me in the right direction to start. According to my buddy it didn't start doing this until he got it back from the dealer. Up until that point the car stopped just fine. It does have an electrical issue in the engine harness ( or did ). As far as I know it was fixed and everything should be cherry. Other then that the car runs and drives fine. I was just wondering if I can get some guidence here.
