I know photos of the Eagle Eyes light pattern have been posted before ... but maybe it was on another Lexus forum.

The light pattern is essentially the E-code pattern first allowed on U.S. cars for the 1994 model year but which Toyota did not adopt for the U.S. spec LS400 until the 1995 model year.

The light output from Eagle Eyes with H4 bulbs will be more than adequate and will have a sharp low beam cutoff and completely unlike the poorly focused "blob" of light put out by the standard 90-94 LS headlights.

Without the amber light shields in the foglights, your fogs will look like - what else - fog lights without the amber shield. I guarantee you that other drivers will "flash" you more if you remove the amber shields - they will assume that your high beams are on.

I lived with the OEM headlights in a 1990 LS400 for 13 1/2 years -- absolutely the worst aspect of the car and the main reason I sold it in 2003. I might be driving it today if Eagle Eyes had been available back then.

I could have sworn I responded here.

Are the Eagle Eyes the best option, since most seem to universally hate the corners?

I think the eagle eyes are the only option... You'll learn to live with the corners, especially if you close your eyes when walking past them... The old corners with the new eagle eyes look worse in my opinion, because they look old / dated when installed next to a new eagle eye headlight lense.

New to the forum but I'll partake... Would it be possible to low heat bake the corners and seperate the lens from the housing and either paint the inside or fit the new lens on the old corner housing so they don't look so dated or have all that plastic crowding up the lens...

the corners and turns('98-00) are usually glued, not sealed. don't come apart cleanly with heat.

yes but he'll have to rewire the plugs or get some adapters, '93-94 headlights are H4/9003.
