needless to say, these headlights are really really bright on road. cutoff is nice too. hi beam isnt tested yet as i didnt have time to wire the solenoid

i will try to explain detailed process of my project here and pix as many as i can (or maybe a new thread? if considered off topic)
definitely start a new thread, its tangential but awesome, i dont think ive seen a solid thread on LS400 projector retrofitting even in lighting.

one thing to note, i didnt do the projector retro by myself but i had another guy do it, he is a pro in inserting projector to headlight assembly. so pls dont expect to see a tutor on how to do it. youtube is source to find video tutor for this

Default Eagle Eyes for 1990 LS 400 no longer available?

I got excited about this, but didn't find anyone selling these on eBay anymore.

I had the impression a 1993-1994 kit wouldn't work on a 1990.

Or purchase a 90-92 bi-xenon HID kit with bulbs for a 93-94 (9003 bulb) along with the Eagle Eye's and then there's no need to modify the wiring harness plugs. This is what I did... The Eagle Eye's fit perfectly into a 90-92 except for the fact the they're set up for a 9003 bulb which is native to the 93-94...

python and JimsGX,

OK, I think I'm sold then. Jim, which HID kit did you get, and how well did that fit into the Eagle Eyes? Also, how long do you think it would take a mechanic to do all this if I just hired someone? I'm supposed to be taking care of wife&baby...

Jims idea is perfect!!! greattt idea man.

Mike, removing the headlights is CAKE i mean a 5 yr old can do it. all you need is a 10 and 12mm socket + ratchet and you'll remove the whole headlight out. theres tutorials on www.lexls.com. but if ur really weary about doing it, check out the regional forums, i believe the NW has one. there are plenty of members on there that can help you. i think 20sburning is from WA.

I'd check with Steve from Xenondepot.com (a CL sponsor). He should be able to set you up.
