wassup everyone my name is Dan. From Norcal new to the forum. I'm about to go pick up a 1998 Lexus ls400 today. I want to know is there any particular issues about this car I should be looking into?
Little detail about this car:
98 ls400
black on tan
clean title
125k
good condition for $7k
Welcome to CL. This is widely asked and if you search you will see multiple threads on it. However, the timing belt is the biggest factor as it should have been changed B4 100,000 miles. If it has not been changed it will need to be done soon. It can cost over $1,000. Others include suspension components like struts, control arms and lower ball joints.
Yea the price has gone down a lot. The guy told me the car got tuned up not too long ago. I'm just gonna check on it anyway. I already bought some megan coilover I should be okay for now.Thx for all the input guys
