Greetings - Please help a new LS400 brother
Hi everyone,
I just joined and am very impressed with the site... I have been drooling over some of the Mods photos...
I love my 1996 B on B LS400 but it is bone stock except for the tint job.
Can any seasoned veterans in the mod department recommend a few small tweaks to increase HP.
#1 Air Intake - is KNN is the best? Who should I buy?
#2 Exhaust - a nice deep sound with good air flow.. and max hp boost
#3 Chip - is there a chip for the LS 1996 model?
I am also very interested in wheels/ stereo/ and body kit...
Stereo - Can I fit my 2 JL10w6 woofers into the LS? If so, is cutting needed? What is the preferred way to get best bass response. The trunk is pretty sound proof and I do not want to damage my vehicle with a bad install. What size speakers are in the doors? and are there any good installers in Southern California.
Wheels: Those 19's sure look hot!
Body Kit: Where should I be looking.
I live in Orange County, CA.
Thank you guys in advance for your advice and experience.
Britt
ps... the LS400 is such a great car, I just need some custom tweaks...
