No, I dont have holes. I agree not a good idea and definetly not a good look.

My trunk (bootlid, for the guy asking) had all the Toyota and Celsior badges removed all the holes filled and sprayed again. Nice Clean Shaved look, atm I have a Lexus and a LS400 badge on the back no "L" but prefer the totaly shaved look so will go back to it, but here is a pic of how it looks at the moment. Also chucked in a pic of my two top of the range CF pack Celsiors together, Ones stock as a rock the other nice and modded.

The LS400, they went overboard with the registration holes. What ticks me is they didn't use them on all their other cars. The day I brought ours home, I was gonna remove them until I saw the swiss cheese trunk lid. Not finding a body shop that was confident in paint matching, it has been one mod I've not done.

Most the shops want to feather it around the rear quarter and up through the C-pillars and roof. That's nearly painting 1/3 the car...fer-git-it! Then you have nice fresh paint back there and 2/3'rds is the old stuff.

There is a company that makes paintable plugs.

BTW...the lid has drain holes but I wouldn't want a regular shower for it since it does introduce moisture. Long term it may rust.
