Project Update, suspension, wheels and tires
Just wanted to post up some pics of my car as it comes along. Some of you may remember my car on Tanabes and comparing different size tires after the drop.
I have since installed KYB struts and H&R springs as the tanabes were too soft for me. Here are side by side pics comparing the springs, stock on left, tanabes in center and H&R on right.
Front:
Rear:
Here is the car on the kyb's and h&R's with SC430 wheels and 245/40/18 runflats. Also tinted the tail lights.

Thanks to all the feedback.
The ride is pretty comfy with the H&R's, almost as comfy as the tnanbes, but the car is much more solid around corners. I preffer the H&R's hands down, even though the drop is not as much as the tanabes. Going for function over looks on this one, so no more of a drop for me than the H&R's have already provided. I will get a slightly thicker tire when the current ones wear out, which will close the small gap between tire and fender.
Next plan is to remove the resonators and replace with magnaflow straight through mufflers and just pipe from that back. I want the V8 sound.
Will be upgrading to braked from the 93ish LS400 as the rotors are about an inch bigger in diameter, which may not seem like much, but that gives an over all 15 to 20% surface area, which will be significant in stopping power as well as aid in cooling, especially with slotted cryo rotors.
Will not be doing the SupraTT brake upgrade as mine is a 91 and it's too involved for my intended use at this time, just in case anyone was going to raise that question.
Thanks again for all your feedback and input....

its the 2LS conversion that you have to either get some RCAs made or shave a bolt.

I don't think you need to change the backing plate, you just need to cut the dust shield/guard.

Car is looking good! I feel you on the function over form, I made most of my mod choices around the same issue. I miss my LS
