So rear wheel question. THe 19s I bought have pretty high offset +44. They are 19x10.5. 3.5 inch lip or so

I just talked to a member here on the forum, who said, that it will be "too inside" on the rear when lowered.

However, the company I bought it from says this:

well these are 10.5 inch wide with +44 offset, which is the same as 10 inch wide with +37 offset.

so your total net fitment is the same as 19x10 +37, remember the set you bought is 19 x 10.5

I used to run 19x10 +35 on my LS430 lowered on coilovers and it was in no way too inside.


So what do you guys think??

 

It depends on what you're trying to achieve. If you're going for a conservative drop, then it should be pretty flush. If you're going for VIP style, then you should've gone with offsets in the mid teens to low 20's. You can always get spacers if you're not happy with the setup.

 

will it fit?: 95% sure yes.
will it look good?: not so sure, that's a REALLY conservative fitment....

to put it into perspective, my rears are 20x10.5 +12offset, yours are +44, so in essence, your rear wheels will be tucked 32mm INWARD (~1.26in.)

a 15-20mm spacer would help flush it out a LOT, but if you run it this way, you dont have to stretch your tires at all

what are the specs for the fronts?

 

Fronts are 19x9 high disk. +44 as well.

I guess if I don't like the rears, I will do the spacer.

I don't want to be super conservative and I don't want it gangster VIP either.

I guess I will wait and put them on this weekend and take it from there.

Just so I have the info 1) where can you buy the spacers 2) where do you buy the long studs which will be needed for the spacers?

I am hoping a one finger gap all around.

 

i would buy adapters with the studs built in. you wont be able to run anything less than 25mm adapter if your wheels are multi drilled.

 

25 for the rears and 15ish for the front sounds good to me

H&R makes some good 15mm spacers that come with the extended studs

 

I am not sure I want any for the fronts.

But for rears sound good to me.

Where do I buy these spacers with the extended studs?

Tirerack's cust service was horrible. I have bought stuff from them before, and they were great.

I contacted Brandon via email, to order 4 19 inch tires, and he gave me a one word answer.

So I went and bought brand new 19s from somewhere else.

 

if your wheels have a dual lug pattern, you wont be able to run anything less than 25mm.

 

for reference i ran a 10" rear with a +24 offset. tucking tire, i had to roll my fenders. that was with a 265 35 18.

for spacers, there are hubcentric spacers on ebay for cheap that come with the longer studs. i'm running some on my fronts right now, 15mm, got them for $50 i think. just look up "lexus toyota wheel spacer".

 

2nd gen has a LOT more room in the rear than 1st gen

Consider I run +35 offset on a 9.5" rim. I have 285 series on them with 2" drop. I had to modify fenders to avoid rubbing. I did not want to stretch the tire though. I think you will be happy with the spacers. Even if you have to modify the fender by rolling or cutting it will look good
