Default ID this part i broke.

Hi, I was changing my rotors yesterday and I broke this part. But then i put it together with a wire after soldering it. Cars runs ok though.

What is it? It has a wire going to the coil. That square grey plastic part. Any idea how much?

Little above 3 o clock in this picture. Thanks.

huh??? Use MS Paint to circle what you're taking about. What does the front of the engine have to do with changing the rotors?

I have no idea what part in the pic you are talking about. It could possibly be the camshaft sensor.

Usually rotors in 1UZFEs are in the front

They are talking about Brake rotors Bali26. That is the most common reference to 'rotors' when talking about cars.

Your picture doesn't help that much.. if you could take a close up shot, or use a simple program like MSpaint to circle it, it might help.

Anyhow -- I assume you are referring to the Distributor Rotor -- What wire/part you are trying to figure out I don't know because it is ambiguous.

Could be a Cam sensor, Distributor wiring harness piece,.. can't really see from the picture.

o dang i finally figure out what your talkin about haha. i though last night i was tripping out. I guess he is talkin about the Distribution Cap/Rotor and Spark Plug Wires.

Distribution Cap = 14 Each
Distribution Rotor = 9 Each
Spark Plug Wires = 166+ Each
= can go aftermarket

Unless your talkin about the the crankshaft sensor which are 100 each.

+10,000 for a better picture please

Ok my mistake. Yes i was talking about Distributor rotors and caps. I don't know why they put em under so much plastic. It took me like 4 hours. Then I had to try to solder the part I broke. ( All plastic latches become so brittle that its easy to break them) Then I had bolt left over that I had to account for. Pasenger side distributor cover was a pain. Didnt had to remove any radiator hose.

This is the part i broke...

I also have engine mounts to put in. When i do, i will take photos and post.

Thanks

Just a side note here... Did anybody notice the serpentine belt is grooved diagonally, instead of having ribs that go in the direction of rotation? I have never seen one like this. Seems like the grooves in the pulleys would wear the belt down faster.
