Default Bodykit q's UCF 10

Ok, I'm looking for a kit for my ufc10 and found that AimGain makes some wicked nice kits but they are all for ufc20's.

Now, can I use a ufc20 kit on my ufc10? And I mean having it fit without modding anything.

I tried searching but no dice.

Brandicus.. Thanks!

Everyone one of those kits is what I mean by 'sporty'

I like them all.. a few have some pieces I'd remove, or modify a bit.. but overall that is exactly what I'm after.

Alot of the kits extend the rear lower bumper/valence -- If I cut that more even with the factory length the kits all look perfect.

It is more of how the kits 'box' them out *too* much with that piece (bumper) that I dislike. Looks a bit too fake with that piece.. though the lips, skirts, and spoilers are great. None of those spoilers or "wings" look too drastic either imo.

Though I suppose with these 3grand+ kits you are also needing to think a few grand on rims, and another grand on lowering for the accurate look.

Way outta my ballpark, but nice to consider.

I guess the most bang for the buck is Rims,.. like I say, maybe some 18's or so.. best bang for the buck.

Is there a relatively inexpensive way to lower the ride height only slightly to lessen the gap in the fender well? Without spending hundreds and hundreds on lowering kits?

Don't want to sacrifice ride quality, but I would imagine a half inch or so lower wouldn't hurt it too bad.

(not trying to hi-jack the thread.. just interested in what Brandicus and so many others are experts on)

you forgot how much paint+install on top of the cost of the kit, even a lip kit will be $800 and up

you only need to spend that kind of money on brand new kits. even then the artisan spirits (second page of the link) lip kits can be had for $630, even the wald v3 exchange full body kit can be had for under a grand. In the classifieds right now is 3/4ths of a wald kit for the ucf10. I think the best thing to do if you want a deal is to play the waiting game. I would much rather buy a kit thats alittle banged up and fix it than buy a brand spanking new one that will break the bank. same thing for wheels.

you may see some cheaper kits around like the erebuni (spelling) kit or one simply labeled VIP kit. these I cannot recommend for quality reasons. they are cheaply made knockoffs and you get what you pay for, nuff said.

Im no expert on springs but ive heard the tanabe models offer a good 2 inch drop or so once they settle, pair them up with some good struts and your ready to go. I wouldnt waste my time with the h&r's personally, they only offer a 1 inch drop and its barely noticable from what ive seen. no offense to my fellow clers of course :P

I believe luxurymods has the springy stuff for ya to, but same thing if you want cheaper you want used. oh yea look up california customs springs, they make some for the ucf10 that were inexpensive (less than 100) ask 19psi about them i think he was running a set.

other than that your looking at cutting stock springs, if you only cut a couple coils it shouldnt make that big of a difference but im sure not recommending it.

Good info as usual..

And PD, no I didn't forget about Paint/Installation -- Trust me

I doubt I'll put an entire kit on my car,.. though I might throw a conservative lip and perhaps a very conservative spoiler.. That would come last though.

The Wheels would be first of course. I will just keep watching classifieds and see what I come across -- it is what I'm doing for my slightly cracked tailight, and fog light.

Good find Sixdown -- No clue on quality either,.. but the prices are much better. Kits look good.

Anyone attest to the brands available?

I have heard bad things about this seller in other forums. I would stay away.
