Default Factory Air Ride help

I have a 91 with the factory air suspension. I've done a lot of searches of all the LS400 sites and I cannot find anything posted thats similar with any good clues.

Symptoms:

1. If you set ride to high, everything works properly other than front seems a bit higher than rear. Ride quality is great, light on dash says High.
2. If you set ride to low, the rears and driver's front all lower themselves. The Passenger Front stay up in the high position. Ride quality isn't as good and the dash never says low.
3. The dash light for low ride height works as when you start the car it does illuminate so its not that.

Any troubleshooting suggestions? I think the shocks is ok but I could be wrong. Seems like all the ones that fail just go flat so to speak. I'll check the connector on the shock itself this Sunday but i just wondered if there were any other things to look at. Thanks.

After yet more searches I finally found some hints about what might be the problem. Since my suspension doesn't leak/sag, it appears it might but the ride height sensor in the RF. That little rod that goes from the control arm (or shock) to the body might be out of adjustment or the car isn't sensing it. I assume it must sense it a bit somehow because High seems to work.. I'll attempt to adjust it this weekend and post back more for archival purposes.
