Others posted they have with a 14 x 1.5 bolt (not sure on length but I think 25mm should be enough, maybe a bit more, just some will stick out). I looked for one briefly and gave up.

Just tell me real quick how to get the Valve out .. and it won't need a new seal or anything to put it back in after pictures will it?
Nope, not seal, nothing special at all. Its got a hex part between the threads and the plastic part, its 14mm.

Was your original hose old and bad? Or what? Wondering why you replaced the hose, unless you just thought it wise.
Yup the hose was just bad and harder than the aluminum next to it.

Hrmm -- I hope it isn't. It didn't look that bad to me either, but I could have sworn I've read it is a major pain to get to. Maybe it isn't,.. let us know. Heck make a write up on it if you can. (Unless LexLS has a good one already)
I'm about to eat dinner than give it a shot. I'll post back tonight or tomorrow how bad it is.

Mind answering the question on if jack/ and jackstands will work just fine for the job? As opposed to a lift?
Jack stands are fine for the ACV swap. For the PS pump swap, you will need to put it in the air just for that one bolt.

Off topic but the alternator was about 1 hour plus a 15 min trip to the kids at Autozone to test the alternator when the only two guys there didn't know how to run it, well at least understand the output. It did appear to me the alternator was still the problem so I swapped it. Instantly I could run all accessories with no issues and the headlights were noticeably brighter.

For those of you postponing fixing your PS pump, do it, otherwise you are throwing away more money on the alternator and it may strand you. I was lucky mine started going out miles from my house and I realized what was going on very quickly.
