my car sound really loud and funny when i first start the car in the moring or when it get really cold. this started happend when i was at my girlfriend house i was about to leave......when i start my car then i gave it a lil extra gas(reving) then i hear this loud sound seem like its coming from my powersteering. ever since my car sounded like this when its in the moring or cold weather..

 

How does it sound like? When mines went out, it made a strange sound too, but only after the engine was warmed up. Bought a new power steering pump from Napa and fixed it.

If it is your power steering pump, better fix it fast before it takes out your alternator.

By loud is it squeaking? Ticking? Squealing?
