you need this thread. https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=144434
then this www.google.com
from which you would have found this. http://www.ado13.com/techs/relay.htm
either way, next time try to read THEN attempt a mod
for your relay, based solely on the useful picture on it:
1-2 is the coil, so when u apply +12v to these two the 3-5 pins will have continuity.
so for your application, the ORIGINAL +12v from the headlight switch will go into say pin 1, then the ground from the foglight switch will go into pin 2. Then to make it work you just have to wire the constant +12V from the fog light fuse to pin 3 and the output from the relay to the foglights on pin 5.
havent u used relays before? its pretty basic stuff this...
my main question is why are u using another relay? the easiest way to do it is to just make a tiny harness to extend the original foglight relay out a couple inches so that instead of the headlight switched +12v u can use any +12v to turn them on...

Sorry I swear I searched! I was probably just too flustered. hahaha
I really appreciate this though! I did make 4 new wires to extend the harness. i'm just a real visual person so pictures for me is WAY easier than a list of steps.
i just didn't know which was the source/ground/trigger, whatnot. . . I put everything back together though, a lot easier than I thought it would be.
and lastly, should I just put it in with a fuse?? or splice it in with another wire?
