Default Fog light mod in So Cal-HELP

My friend and I were trying BananaGS' fog light override mod last night. http://lexusmodz.netfirms.com/ We followed each detail and double/triple checked all our wires/connections, unfortunately, it didn't work out for us. I'd like to know if anyone, local in So Cal, has done this fog light override mod and can help out a fellow CL'er.

Bottom line, can someone local in So Cal please provide consultation help so I can get it right? Some CL'ers tell me this mod is so easy, but sorry, I'm really very electrical-challenged

I made a mistake when doing that mod as well. I think I grounded something twice so no power was getting to the relay at all. Just remember to check the grounds on all your stuff and make sure its not looping back. It's been so long I can't even remember anymore haha. If you were in the TX I could look at it for ya I was going to write up a more detailed guide, but so far I haven't had time to.

Thanks Jeff for your input. I'm getting too lazy now to tear apart my steering column and try it again. Kinda just hoping there's someone in So Cal can come over and help me out.
