I wonder if seafoam just coats the parts or does it really clean the carbon off? Any long term updates to see if seaform is just a temporary fix or a long term solution?
My 96 LS has about 127k miles and after reading this thread i thought it would be good to do this to my car. I have some questions first though, are there any risks involved when doing this to your car, and where do you get this stuff? can you just get some at Autozone?
an alternative to the sip method is to buy the seafoam product called deepcreep. It is the same product but in a pressurized can with a little straw to focus the spray... just spray it into the hose while the engine goes.
i did this for my acura and the results were noticeable. I put one can in the vac tube and one in the gas tank with a third tank to go.....

anything you do to your car there is always going to be some kind of risk..with 127k miles i would say its about time to seafoam. Autozone should carry it.
