Question seats front and back

I am in need of replacing the driver's seat in my '93. The right motor of the seat back failed while I was adjusting it which twisted the frame. I got the motor replaced so that it is drivable again but it is murder on my back now.

Any recommendations as to where I can go to get a new seat? I would imagine that the dealer might be a bit pricey. But, if it isn't might that be my best option?

Thanks so much!

I was going to add that I also needed to get the rear seat back reinstalled after I had the springs replaced. I had that done out of town and had to pick the car up when the place was closed so I couldn't complain about it. Is that something which I can do myself or should I get that done professionally?

Thanks,
rich

Check around at "Junk Yards". You might find one there. Those guys can find one for you if they don't have it. It will be used, but I'd say the only other option is the dealer on a part like that.

AAA Foreign Car auto salvage in Hurst or Bedford)Texas (between Dallas and Fort Worth parts out quite a few lexus cars. Very well organized, especially for a wrecking yard. They put everything on computer and can tell you what they have over the phone. They ship all over the country

I have the number at my office if you cant find it. I dont get a chance to get on here very often so you can email me DrivingMsBlondie@aol.com and ill send it to you.

I will check those places out...SilverLS400, i took my car to the dealer and they replaced the motor which drives the right side. It was a couple of C-notes or so to get it done, and was worth every penny - that is, it made the car drivable again. My sitting in the car I was practially in the back seat!
