check 2 things,,

1. You may have blown a main fuse under the hood.
2. Open the trunk and check the wiring on the left trunk hinge. You will have to peel back the black covering on the hinge itself to expose the wiring. Common problem on the LS is the wiring on the trunk hinge goes bad and it really does affect alot of things. Sometimes the wire is pinched, grounded, or burned out. If this is the case,, then you will have to cut out the bad section of the wires individually, and replace with new wire. Wrap separetely and you are good as new again.

Does the car even start up at all? Are the lights dim??? Give as much info. as you can so we can help you diagnose the problem.

i will check the trunk. i was thinking that i may have roasted the fuse box near the pedals. i seem to have all the functions of the fuse box under the hood, but none related to the box near the pedals. thanks for looking out. oh, any ideas/photos on how to fix the fuse box near the pedals?

To be honest,,theproblems you are describing all seems to relate to the wiring problem I mentioned on the trunk hinge. Most of what is up under the pedals controls the accesories,,radio, fog lights, heater, etc.

If you have truly roasted the fuse box under the pedals, it is a major PITA to get to. Would take a really good suge to fry this one tho. unfortunately there is no easy way to get acces to it.
