Unhappy Help, my moonroof might be leaking

So for the past couple of days it has been pouring down raining. My drive side is soaked from the ceiling to the floor. What should I do? I called the lexus dealership and they said it cost me from $50 to hundreds of dollars to find the leak. Any advice?

Make sure the drain lines are connected. There are drain lines that run from each side of the sunroof (driver, and passenger) that lead into the trunks outer sides.

Seems like your drivers side is either disconnected, or plugged with dirt. Double check and make sure the drain tube is connected to the line.

Common issue by the way.

Two weeks ago when it started raining here in the bay area, my wife complained about some water dripping from the driver side. Just today I read this forum and tried checking the drainage hole and found it was plugged with some dirt. I cleaned it and tried pouring some water and noticed water dripped near the rear wheel. I guess that means the drainage finally worked.

I'm gald I found this issue here and don't have to send the car to for servicing. Thanks!
