Another newbe question
Dear all knowing,
My 1999 LS might or might not have a problem. When I am going slow, about 20 MPH, and accelerate, it seem to powerfully surge, as if it is in a lower gear than it should be. Is this normal? Or should I get it checked out? This is the first Lexus I have owned. Otherwise it is perfect. And seems to shift normally. Does the trans. need adjusting? Just wondering.
By the way I have been most impressed by the answers by the group.
Thank you, David

You'll get used to it and smooth out your throttle input with your foot soon enough. When I first got my 99 I almost peeled out of the dealership After a couple of days I learned how to feather the throttle on low speeds so I don't get that powerful low end torque (Surge as you put it) too often anymore.

Thanks guys,
I have gone thru quite a bit of money at the dealers so far, timing belt, trans. flush, light bulbs, balancing and rotating the tires. They love to see me show up. But at least they are great, and my service advisor is a very pretty young blonde.
