Default Daizens - WOW!

After getting the Daizen CA bushings in and driving the car around, all I can say is WOW. The car doesn't wallow like a boat anymore, and the tires don't cry around the curves anymore. What a difference. Now, I need to get the back shocks done.

LOL!!! yeah the CA bushings are definately worth the money. You should go ahead and put in the other bushing set (sways) as well. I have done so and have recently done my front and rear sway bar bushings as well. Yes it dfinately is an improvement and I have to agree with you the car has less of a wallow to it. I tok my car on an exteme road trip (normally she is a parking lot queen) across the PATPK over to Pittsburgh. Some of those hills and curves up there can really throw you around, my 92 was gliding thru them and it felt alot more planted thru them at speeds, um well above the law.

The poly's are nice. I recently swapped out my old poly sway bar bushings for Energy Suspension's with a grease fitting. I like them better since I can grease them easily at each oil change. They really do make a nice difference over OEM rubber.

Do Diazen (and other similar kits) bushings have much of a negative impact on ride quality/noise level vs. stock rubber bushings?

it will make the car stiffer but shouldnt affect noise level.

The Daizen's are engineered to make the car more responsive, tighter, etc. versus OEM rubber. They are an inexpensive alternative to replacing suspension components like sway bars, etc.

I found it hard to find an upgrade for the sway bar bushings for my 97. Anyone know of a company that makes them for the 97? Daizen doesnt seem to make them

addco makes a rear sway but it needs some mods to fit properly.

Curious if you could have an upgraded swaybar made out of "stressproof" steel, designed for just such a thing, by a fabrication shop. Just have it made out of a slightly thicker steel and match the bends of the origional bar.

For sways, I had some Energy Suspension in there without the grease fittings... squeak-squeak.

Mine is pretty loose so I know upper and lower CA bushings are next along with the upper ball joint. That is the price to pay for the nice ride attributed to the multi-link suspension...and I'm due for the rear strut bar bushes too. Ouch...

I've got a small list of upcoming fixes to the ol barge.

I swapped to the new Energy bushings with new ones with grease fittings - no more squeak squeak. I also have an ADDCO rear bar but be prepared to drill out the end link holes to a larger diameter. The bar is so stiff you can do pull ups and it doesn't flex. Other than that the bar and the Energy bushings make for a nice improvement.

Forgot to mention the new Energy sway bushings are about $35 front and rear.
