Hi everyone,
I just wanted to know what could have cause this weird wood pecker like noise right under the LH distributor cap dust cover. I started the car this morning and heard the noise, popped the hood and proceeded to slap the dust cover and the noise went away. I didn't come back again. It's weird cause I have never heard the noise before and for it to go away with a slight slap....hmmmm...weird!

any ideas??

I guess my LS is going nuts. lol

 

May be worth it to make sure that the rotor and cap are on tight even though they use lock washers.
