Default Door Chime Removal

Does the LS400 in the States have the door chime warning ?
The one that operates when you leave the key in the ignition but not on and with the door open , the Celsiors over here have it and it drives the hot stereo guys nuts !!
They can't have the stereo on with the door open as they then have this chime going on .
If anybody wants I'll post up a brief explan and some pics , not rocket surgery if you know where the chime actually is .

this is what u do, u open the door and then start the car then shut it off and no more chime until u close the door again. or u start the car and then open the door, forgot which way but one or the other works.
