That's the one! It's nice to know that people keep things that are posted here!
I cut that together a while ago from a magazine image I had.
Hope it helps.

Left to Right:
Mufflers, Mid mufflers(resonators), center catalytic conveter, y pipe, and catalytic converter on each side of down pipe.
in a nutshell,,,, 4 mufflers,, 3 cats.
Most of the members heve delete the 2 center mufflers in opt for a straight flow exhaust to rear mufflers.

interesting...thanks tony. i asked a friend of mine why my exhaust was so raspy and he said theres a hole somewhere and its coming out near the driver/passenger front doors. if i delete the resonators and put magnaflow mufflers u think i can pass emissions?

Negative. In that picture, the center "item" is a resonator, not a catalytic converter.

If it's near the doors the most likely scenario is that one or more of the gaskets connecting the catalytic converters to the exhaust manifolds or piping has failed and is letting exhaust gasses flow through a small gap. If this is the case it's a cheap fix. The resonators and mufflers are farther back and will have no effect on this.

It shouldn't.
