Smile '94 driver side seat belt height adjustment not working!

Hey guys How is going?

Just one minor problem with the height adjustment : it does not work when press but I can hear some noise from the seat belt plate. I think the switch is O.K. but sound like something is stuck inside the mechanican moving the plate up and down. Any idea how to fix this? No thread ever touched this subject. Any input will be greatly appreciated.

Take off the panels to see what the problem is. I haven't heard of anyone else having this problem. Start by taking off the front door sill, and then remove the rear door sill just enough to pop out the panel that sits in the pillar between the front and reat seats.. once that comes out, you should have access to the panel above that.. Not sure, and I would check but my car is in the shop right now. Good luck.
