3rd generation LS how to change brake pads???? (98-00)
and by 3rd generation I mean 98-00
can anyone point me in the right direction of a good DIY or make up a quick one for me...
I just havent had a good chance to take a look at what I am dealing with...would like to get some pointers or information before I go in...see if there is anything speacial that will help or I will need.
I am pretty good with pads, have done them on honda's bimmers, and my previous 98 GS400 however when I had my wheels put on I caught a aglimpse of the calipers and they are pretty beast like so I just would like something to go by or some pointers on the whole process....
and anyone with personal experience is it pretty easY???? the GS400 was a sitch, nothing to it...the brake setup is a little different on LS tho at least in the front from what i can tell...
Thanks guys, really appreciate it, I will post pics, when I am done as my lex is due for some updated pictures other than the ones of when I got it.

i recco having the rotors turned at the same time or else risk glazing/improperly breaking in new pads

thanks guys, I did my brakes yesterday took advantage of the 4th I had off...Car is wicked quiet, no more squeak, only thing is I have to take the wheels in to get balanced...otherwise brakes were pretty easy
Hardest part I think was the rear sensor...I wasnt to sure how to remove, but I got it off (has a crack in the clay) figured it wouldnt hurt it too much. How much are those anyway???
other than the defective pad that would not fit, it went through without a hitch all thanks to you guys...Thanks again
