Agreed. And those ones with the Police Interceptor packages are awesome. I almost got tempted and bought a wanna-be cop car.

Only three people buy Crown Vics:

1) Old folk
2) Cops
3) Wanna-bes

PS This is just a generalization, don't take offense as I'm sure someone here and reading is an exception.

I am 6"8" and 235 and my 2004 LS430 is the best car that I have ever fit into as a driver. I've owned a many a suv and luxury rides but the 2004 LS is great for me. Hopefully the 2009 LS460 fits as good when I am ready to buy other wise it is back to an 2004 - 2006 LS for me

Sorry to tell you but the number one selling car for Old Folk is not a Crown Vic, but a the Toyota Avalon, it seems that they have have had it with American junk and moved up to a car that is reliable and has a good resale.

LS400 Fan

If you think the Air suspension on a TC is that great, you'll go nuts when you ride in a 95-00 with A/S option. They run very smoothly, but a bit more floaty that the standard LS4. I have the standard one and I think it rides better than any Crown/Towncar/Marquis, whatever.

I wont doubt a TownCar though, they are very impressive as Lincolns smaller Sport Sedan, the LS sucked major ***. I owned one for a year and it gave me nothing but trouble. It was a great car to drive...when it ran right.

The Towncar is something I would ride in, just not drive. My driving preference is something powerful, young styled, and feels tight. The towncar is short of all of this...underpowered, looks more oldfolkish, and really feels ike driving a boat. If you want someone to drive you around, buy a TC, if you like to drive, I'd recommend the LS
