Is anyone absolutely sure that the front speaker size on a 1994 Lexus LS400 is 4"? I went to bestbuy and did the whole car speaker size search and it told me to get 5.25" speakers for my front doors. Is this a direct replacement? Pls let me know- Any input would help. Thanks!
Yes, the stock speakers are 4". Best Buy speaker size search recommends 5.25" speakers because they can fit in your ls400 but they will not fit without cutting and modifying the stock speaker boxes. I replaced all 4 of my speakers in my '91 (1st gen like yours) with some stock 4" speakers that I had gotten for fairly cheap from a '99 ls4. Even those took some cutting in order to get them to fit.

Exactly what he said.

Bingo.
BTW, this thread is way too old...there should be newer threads about speaker size.
Hey guys I’m new here I don’t know where to post, I have a 98 LS 400 and I think the sub in the very back is blown. Do you know what I need to replace it? Not sure if it’s a sub or speaker
