The wallet key is supposed to be a headless valet key.
If you need to get in your trunk but it is locked as well as the lockout button inside the car then remove the lower plastic panel and undo the release buttone from the dash , then just short the wires to open the trunk and then get a spare key made.

I thought the wallet was a master?

Regardless, the shorting method is the best advice I've seen so far on this thread--now that's thinking!

why didnt i think of that

yea, taking the switch out of the dash, unclipping the harness plug, and using a paperclip to short it is prolly the easiest way to get into the trunk

good idea SK.

Could you go through the pass-thru from the back seat to reach the key? Or did you lock that as well?

the seats in the LS don't fold down. the only access to the trunk from the interior is through the subwoofer hole which is only ~8in.

contact http://www.sparecarkeys.com or call them at 866-350-4199 & have a mechanical key cut by your VIN number & sent by over night mail. It won't start your car, but it will get you into the trunk
