Well, I've got myself a bit of a problem, and I was just wondering if any of you might have some advice.

My trunk won't open either with the inside release or my key.

When I pull the release I here a click, like the solenoid trying to move, but it not the "ka-chunk" that you hear when the trunk opens.

When I go to put my key in the trunk, the lock won't turn (I almost broke my key off trying to force it, which was pretty stupid of me).

I'm thinking that since it was working only a few hours before this started, that maybe something inside the latch did not return to it's normal position, so now the tumbler and mechanical release can't open it. Or maybe some punk tried to pound a screwdriver in there, who knows. And "Yes" I've already squirted WD40 in there, to no avail.

Any advice you provide me with would be greatly appreciated.

Make sure your trunk lock inside the car(between the gas and trunk opener are unlock) and your key is the master key. The valvet key only open the door and start the car( no remote entry on the key).
