1994 LS Key won't open trunk?
Maybe have someone push down on the trunk when you use the solenoid, and then have them try to open it while you keep holding the switch to open it. Maybe pressure is keeping latch from releasing? Hoods and trunks not opening would not be a fun deal on these cars.
Ok guys & gals!
To follow up....
I tried all the different ways i came across and began to suspect the worn key...but,
that did not address why the solenoid switch did not open the lock.
So i began to occasionally spray graphite into key hole.
Then one day......shasam!!! That key turned that hadn't turned in 3 months!!!
Needless to say i was stunned!!!
And needless to say girlfriend (her car) was appreciative to get suitcases out of trunk.

The good lock spray oil is more a Teflon than a graphite. I had it free a lock up in about 2 hours. Graphite is dry pencil lead type stuff, kinda old school and won't do a thing with an already corroded lock. Yours must have been oil with graphite in it. ???
