his profile says 93 LS, dealer must have meant free bulb + 1 hr labor to install. go to any local auto parts store, lookup your application for whatever brands they carry and change both headlight bulbs while you're at it. then you wont have a gripe about mismatching L/R headlight output.

I looked at the lead, but it was for the fog light. I need to change the headlight bulb. Thanks for the fog light change info too. Bill

Remove the side marker lights to get access to the bulbs in the back of the housing. No need to remove the headlamps. See attached pic for the screw to remove to take out the side markers. Once the screw is removed the lights are just held in with pins that push into spring clips. Just pull the lights out. You will have to remove the air filter and battery to remove the bulbs from the back.(good idea to use booster cables and another battery to keep power to the car when removing the battery otherwise all the vehicles computers will be reset to factory) Don't remember if I removed the fog lights or not but if you have to you have the link above. This is not a hard job. Good luck. Group, if I have left anything out please correct me.

DIY (Do It Yourself)

Personally, I think it's easier if you remove the headlight assembly...I'd rather do that then remove the battery/air filter, but that's just me.

but if you remove the headlight, then you would probabbly want to re-align them, if you leave them in place and remove the parts from behind them, you won't affect the alignment at all.

Why would you have to realign them after removing them? Alignment never changes unless you mess with the adjusting screws.

I did the whole process of removing the battery & air filter to change mine out. After a few times, it get's faster and easier lol. I tried first by unsrewing the screws to get it loose, but it was hard to get the assembly out without feeling like it was going to break, so I did it the longer way.

good luck

Guess it depends how big of a perfectionist you are, but there is some adjustment in the lights, which will make the alignment a little off.

Default Right Headlamp.I need the Left info

Thanks for your replies. The right seems very easy, but theres no info on the left which is MUCH more difficult. Does that require removing the battery? Is it the same screw set to remove/?? Thanks again...............RaJ
