Default heavy rear end vibration

i've got this nasty vibration coming from my rear drivers side wheel when i brake at highway speeds. i know what you're thinking...but i just had my rotors turned, new oem pads, checked calipers for frozen/sticking piston, bled brakes, greased sliding pins on caliper brackets. you name it, i've personally done it with regards to my brake system.

so i decide to try to check for possible worn bushings, but i have zero play in the wheel that was suspect, only the right side has a little play in the upper control arm bushings.

any suggestions?

how do u know exactly which side of the car it is?

you can tell if its Front or Rear depending on whether u feel the vibration in the seat/floor or through the wheel.

go get ur rear right rotor turned again (only costs like $10 at pepboys) and see if u can def rule out the problem.

i had my rotors cut just last week and the problem still persisted. had the drum part of the rears turned as well as both braking surfaces, and i used the parking brake adjuster to fully retract the shoes so i can rule out a dragging parking brake. maybe have driven 300 miles since and the rotors are still smooth and even.

not sure if u can do this on an LS (pretty sure tho)

try switching the rear rotors to see if the vibe is stilll on the same side.

its POSSIBLE that its the rear carrier arm bushings (cheap but labor intensive).

normally tho this is an issue for UCF20/21 LS400s and its in the front strut bars.
